“Kaufman Lynn’s detailed and comprehensive involvement during the preconstruction process, including evaluating various energy savings systems and products, was the key to making sure we hit our budget. They built a beautiful LEED Silver certified building that allows us to save on operational costs and showcase our ‘earth stewardship” efforts.”

Overview

Trenton Mill Lofts is a beautifully restored historic building located in Gastonia, North Carolina. The building, which dates back to 1893, has been transformed into 85 one- and two-bedroom units, each featuring modern amenities and stylish decor. The project includes an outside courtyard, indoor fitness room, business center, lounge, and a community event space. The project team worked closely with The National Park Service to preserve most of the original cotton mill structure. This includes doors, machinery, and fire hydrants that were repurposed as decoration.
