New construction of 23,840 total s.f. LEED Silver Certified project, including four buildings connected by a “green” atrium and park. Building spaces include 19 classrooms, administration offices and a reception area with art gallery. The atrium/park is covered by a naturally ventilated canopy that maximizes day lighting while minimizing heat. LEED elements also include a special air conditioning system with automatic thermal control and dehumidification, automatic lighting and restroom plumbing controls, low VOC paints, bike racks, low emitting parking spaces and native landscaping.

“Kaufman Lynn’s detailed and comprehensive involvement during the preconstruction process, including evaluating various energy savings systems and products, was the key to making sure we hit our budget. They built a beautiful LEED Silver certified building that allows us to save on operational costs and showcase our ‘earth stewardship” efforts.”
