Design and construction of a 239,646 s.f., 500-space parking garage in close proximity to the beach. The new garage is the corner piece of the Pompano Beach Pier Park master development which is planned as a new city destination with new restaurants, retail shops, and a potential hotel establishment.
The design developed by the team reflects the needs of the master development plan and is planned and designed to accept exterior liner structures. The exterior of the garage features undulating abstract sails, evocative of the ocean and maritime location and is in harmony with the Pompano Beach Bridge soon to be constructed.

Total demolition of existing fire station and new construction of a 8,000 s.f. fire station. This project features three apparatus bays and includes a commercial grade kitchen, and living quarters/dorm rooms and included extensive sitework.

Phased campus replacement. Demolish existing swimming pool (buildings #15 and #16), tennis courts, and existing buildings #1, #2, and #3. Construct two new 3-story buildings (one Administration Building 16,000 s.f., and one Classroom Building 36,000 s.f.). Remodel existing science building (bldg #8 9,500 s.f.). Construct new parent drop off and pick up areas, and staff/visitor parking as well as a new student parking area on the west side of site. Modify existing temporary bus loop to meet all applicable codes and statutes, including ADA requirements.

Kaufman Lynn Construction is providing design build services for the redevelopment of a corporate office complex for this Fortune 100 company. The phased replacement of the company’s current office facilities includes multiple office buildings, training and event center, two parking garages and outdoor spaces. Kaufman Lynn Construction worked closely with the client to develop an optimal sequencing of the building process to accommodate the over 2,000 staff members during construction.

Development and construction of a new three-story single-user office building. The orientation of the building adheres to urban concepts and provides public space along the front of the building. Extensive glass on the exterior and interior of building allow light to flood throughout the work space. The interior features a variety of high end materials and a mix of exposed and concealed ceilings.

The Miami Freedom Tower is one of the most historically significant buildings in South Florida. Designed by Shultze and Weaver and completed in 1925, the Freedom Tower was originally built as the headquarters and printing facility for the Miami News. Over the years, the Freedom Tower changed ownership several times, and was owned by the Federal Government during the 1960's and 1970's when it was used to process, document, and provide medical and dental services to Cuban refugees fleeing communist Cuba. During this period, the building became the landmark known as the Freedom Tower. In 1978, the Freedom Tower was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 2008.
