Dan Root is a construction professional with a 35-year track record of successful oversight of all phases of multi-million dollar projects. He oversees all operations in Kaufman Lynn’s Florida West Coast office in Bonita Springs, FL. His responsibilities include the operation in all fields of administration, policies and procedures, and the overall day to day construction duties like team leadership, project organization, managing cost control and financial reporting as well as preparing project and cash flow schedules, and assisting the estimating department in preconstruction efforts.
Dan is unique in that he’s design savvy, routinely engages in high-level discussions with owners and design partners to make critical decisions, but he also “rolls-up his sleeves” and “gets into the details” with subcontractors, working together to resolve the smallest of issues. Dan routinely leverages his relationships in the local area and throughout the region to manage his staff, resources, subcontractors, suppliers, and bring value to owners and the consultants alike. His keen awareness of time-critical CPM scheduling, jobcost analysis, safety and risk mitigation, quality control, emphasizes team integrity and customer satisfaction.
