Chris Long brings over 35 years of experience in estimating and construction management across a broad range of market sectors, including education, hospitality, office, retail, and multifamily. As Chief Executive Officer of Kaufman Lynn Construction, Chris provides company-wide leadership, strategy, and management oversight — leading the day-to-day operations of the firm while continuing to raise the bar on performance, safety, and client service.
During his more than 10-year tenure with KL, Chris has played a central role in the company’s growth — overseeing entry into multiple new markets, driving consistent annual revenue increases, and balancing expansion across both the public and private sectors. He has championed KL’s commitment to operational excellence, leading several high-profile projects for key clients including the firm’s largest office headquarters project to date.
