Michael Kaufman is the heart and soul of Kaufman Lynn Construction. He is the founder, President and CEO of the Company, which he began in 1989 with three employees, including himself. Since then, Michael has grown his company into one of the largest and most successful construction companies in South Florida. Michael is passionate about his family, his company, his clients and his community.
As a testament to his leadership and business acumen, Mike was awarded the 2010 Palm Beach County Small Business Leader of the Year Excalibur Award by the Sun Sentinel newspaper. He was also awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2008 Ultimate CEO Award for Palm Beach County from the South Florida Business Journal.
Kaufman serves as the Chairman of the Florida Atlantic University Foundation Board of Directors (a board member since 2005), a member of the Facilities Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and a Board Member of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. He also donates his time and support to several industry, community and nonprofit organizations including the Florence Fuller Child Development Center and the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
Kaufman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, College of Building Construction. Born in Bethpage, New York, Kaufman has called South Florida home since 1973.
